Beijing, China, 16 November 2016 – Datalex, a leading provider of digital commerce and retail solutions to the travel industry, and Neusoft, the largest IT solutions and services provider in China, have signed a partnership agreement which will combine their leading expertise in digital commerce and IT services to serve their joint airline customers.

Datalex and Neusoft will bring innovative e-commerce and digital solutions to Chinese airlines which are currently investing in the transformation of the customer engagement. This has come about as the number of digital channels and touchpoints through which customers now engage with airlines in the Chinese market has grown, allowing customers to benefit from optimized products and services.

The two companies will work togetheron marketing, development and the delivery of solutions to their Chinese airline customers. Through the Datalex Digital Commerce Platform, and Neusoft’s big data products including SaCa and RealSight, they will deliver tailored solutions that bring unique benefits to the Chinese market in terms of revenue and customer loyalty.

The announcement was made in Beijing during a recent trade and investment mission to China by Ireland’s Minister for Jobs Enterprise and Innovation, Mary Mitchell O’Connor. Commenting on the partnership, Mary Mitchell O’Connor said: “In June of this year, Datalex announced its expansion in Ireland with 100 new jobs in Dublin and another 100 globally, so it was a great pleasure to witness the signing of this strategic partnership on my Trade Mission to China. The rapid growth of the aviation sector and the e-commerce market in China creates a great opportunity for highly innovative Irish companies such as Datalex to create products that helps airlines to meet their customers’ needs. This partnership agreement is indicative of the scale of possibilities that exist for Irish companies in the Chinese market and I wish Datalex continued success for the future.”

Datalex General Manager China, Haoran Guo said: “Datalex and Neusoft’s cooperation is a win-win strategy. As the leader in digital travel retailing, Datalex serves over 50 global airlines and offers leading expertise in areas such as retail merchandising and omni-channel offer and order management, as well as API strategy. With Neusoft’s deep knowledge of technology innovation, and marketing and sales channels, we are convinced that the partnership will leverage both companies’ core competencies and accelerate market expansion in the airline sector to our mutual benefit.”

Neusoft Group Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Li Jun said: “Datalex is a very innovative travel technology company with strong customer insight and experience in China and across the global airline industry. Neusoft has been working for years to help its customers, including many airlines, to achieve success in business innovation and transformation with internet, big data and cloud-based technologies. I believe this partnership will maximize both companies’ strengths in technology, development, marketing and many other aspects, to deliver innovative products and services to airlines customers.”

Julie Sinnamon, CEO, Enterprise Ireland said: “This is an exciting time for Datalex.
